GPS Handsets to Become the Telephone Standard

The Federal Communications Commission will require all telephone service providers — including those using VoIP — to provide GPS capable handsets for new subscribers to pinpoint the location of 911 calls. — What we want to know is when the government will then intelligently route calls based on that GPS information, rather than force the small VoIP carriers to carry that burden?
