Cablecos Win: Mexico Opens VoIP Floodgates

Mexico's second-largest cable-TV operator, Cablemas, disclosed that it received fixed-telephony licenses covering 13 of Mexico's largest cities - a licensing landmark that could open the floodgates of competition between cable providers and phone companies in that country.
