FCC Requires Certain Broadband and VoIP Providers to Accommodate Wiretaps

Responding to a petition from the Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Drug Enforcement Agency, the FCC determined that providers of certain broadband and interconnected VoIP services must be prepared to accommodate law enforcement wiretaps.
