Qualcomm chief dismisses Wi-Fi, WiMax threats

Qualcomm Chairman and CEO Irwin Jacobs said he sees no threat to it from Wi-Fi or WiMAX. — Well, there is no immediate threat, but if I had the funds, I'd build the nation's first national WiMAX network supporting mobile WiMAX phones... and I bet he'd be worried then.
